| The painting at Sistine Chapel |
What struck me most about the lesson from today's Gospel is to persevere to enter in the narrow halls and stairs towards the kingdom of God even if there's tempting, comfortable and much wider road at the opposite side of the road but not leading towards God's dwelling place.
Sometimes in life we have to give up other things to serve and visit God in spite of hindrance and conflict along the way.

Unknown to others, Michelangelo was also a superb sculptor who constructed the famous Piazza (public square), under the supervision of Pope Paul III, leading to Basilica of St. Mary of the Altar of Heaven or the Aracoeli Church in the summit of Campidoglio in Sta. Maria, Rome which has a laborious pathway, steep stairs and narrow door directing to the entrance of the church contrary to other accessible and main roads leading to other establishments in the same city as perceived by folk and other devotees thereat.
